The Solar Spirit of Francesco Faicchio
Born and raised in Pomigliano d’Arco, at the heart of the Gulf of Naples, Francesco Faicchio grew up watching the sun rise over the Amalfi Coast and set behind Mount Vesuvius. A vision turned into action, a landscape transformed into taste,

“I graduated in accounting. My passion for pastry developed gradually, working in a few Neapolitan pastry shops.” Then came the departure: from the sea to the Thames, spending nearly six years in London among restaurants, hotels, and laboratories. Until his return to Italy, where he now divides his time between Da Vittorio in St. Moritz and DaV Milano in CityLife, creating restaurant desserts (including breadmaking) and producing on a large scale for events. “I always start from the basics. Because if you start there, you can go anywhere,” he says.
